9 months old!

Stephanie here.

There have been lots and lots of changes in our lives over the past few weeks, including Alexander turning 9 months old on Saturday! To start, here are the stats from his appointment today:

head circumference: 46.5 cm (80th percentile)
height: 29.5 in
weight: 19 pounds (25th percentile)

The doctor said he looks great and is very pleased with how he is growing and developing!

A few other notes about Alexander:

*He's CRAWLING! Last Sunday (June 13th), he was on his stomach for "tummy time" and that morning, he just took off! Even though it's an army crawl, which looks like it would take forever to get around, he's becoming quite a speed racer!

Here's a silly video of the very first day of him crawling (he's much faster now!):

Also, yesterday I found two of his bottom teeth coming in! We can finally say that he's teething!! People have been telling us that he has been teething pretty much since he was born because of how much he drooled.

And a few pictures:
Check out Alexander's shirt. That's what happens when your mom is an awful housekeeper and you crawl around on the nasty floor. (I'm on the hunt for a good mop - suggestions welcome!)

with Aunt Lexi on a visit to Grandma & Grandpa Rezsnyak's. It'll be so fun to have cousin Brayden to play with when he comes into the world!

Don't you have this much fun when you're wearing your bathrobe?!

In other news:
-there are 27 days until my last day of work (and I'm only working 12 of them!). Crazy!!
-we're moving into my parents house in August until our house is built next spring/summer (we'll be saving loads and loads of money and will be able to be close to the land as the building is happening)
-we're going to Alaska this summer to spend a little more than a week with Matt & Martina! We'll be gone July 25 - August 3 and we CAN NOT WAIT!

Life is good.

Don't you feel just a little guilty when you try to "lure" them into doing something? I always feel terrible, but it's so cute!

We've also been told Carter is "teething" by EVERYONE. No teeth yet for us... but Alexander gives us hope!

He's such a cutie :)
